Delinquency FAQ Answer to: How can I find out if I have a Juvenile file?

To get information about your juvenile file (and find out if you have one), you must go to the Juvenile Delinquency Clerk's Office in person with a picture ID.

If you live out of town, you may send in a written request with your signature notarized, a copy of your drivers license and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

The Clerk's Office is located in the Juvenile Probation Building at 840 Guadalupe Parkway, San Jose, CA 95110. For directions, business hours, and the mailing address, go to the Juvenile Delinquency Court page at our main web site.

If a search needs to be done, the fee for a name search is $15.00 for searches that take longer than 10 minutes.
