Criminal FAQ Answer to: How can I get a Rehabilitation and Pardon certificate?

Application for Rehab and Pardon is a free service provided by the Public Defender of the county where you reside (not where the conviction occurred). They will complete your papers, file them with the court, and appear with you at the hearing.

If you reside in Santa Clara County, call 299-7700.

However, if you wish to do this yourself, you can obtain copies from any criminal facility Clerk's Office (for locations, visit the "Viewing and Copying of Public Records" page).
