This is a group of city programs that provide free
mediation for community disputes, like tenant/landlord, neighbor to
neighbor, consumer, and workplace. Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Gilroy, and
Santa Clara each have programs.

Campbell Rent Mediation |
Part of Project Sentinel.
Campbell renters and landlords can get free information and advice
about their rights and responsibilities under California and local

simple terms the civil appellate process. The manual will help persons who
are representing themselves, but can also be used by lawyers or anyone
looking for information on civil appeals.

The Modest Means Panel is for people with legal problems who can't pay
standard attorney's fees. If you qualify, the Modest Means Panel can match
you with a lawyer that charges lower fees. These lawyers specialize in:

- Superior Court's Self Service Center
You can visit
the Self Service Center for free help in person from Court legal staff. If
you have a Court case already, you would need to bring a copy of all the
papers in your Court file. The Self
Service Center web page has information on location and hours. There is a children's waiting room
for parents to use who have business in the
Superior Court's Notre Dame courthouse,
where the Self Service Center is located.
You can also get help from a Court attorney through
the CourtMobile, which operates at various times and
locations in Santa Clara County. Click for the the latest
schedule times and locations.

More Free Legal
Services
In addition to the Superior Court's Self Service Center, in the previous
section, you may be able to get free legal services from the
National
Legal Services Corporation (like, Legal Aid Society and Legal Services
Foundation). They provide free legal services for civil cases (not
criminal cases) for people who do not have enough money to pay for private
or low-cost legal services.
